Don de Leaumont is a singer/songwriter whose musical journey began in 1995. He quickly became a notable figure in the vibrant ’90s Atlanta folk scene, where his heartfelt performances, storytelling, and songwriting earned him the attention of audiences around the city. Don’s music is a blend of Southern storytelling and music that draws inspiration from personal experiences and the world around him.

During his time in Atlanta, Don had the opportunity to perform with other local yet influential folk singers, including Wendy Bucklew, John Madden, and Danny Kahn. These performances enriched his musical style and helped shape his artistic identity.

As his career progressed, Don’s talent caught the attention of renowned artists like Kevn Kinney of Drivin’ N’ Cryin, Mike Glibicki of Rusted Root, and Stevie Tombstone. Sharing the stage with these musicians further expanded his musical horizons and exposed his music to new audiences.

Over the years, Don has released a diverse body of work, including 11 EPs and full-length albums, each showcasing his evolution as a musician and songwriter. His upcoming album, Dancing On My Father’s Grave and Other Untold Stories, is set for release in late 2024.
